The lecturing team supporting the MSc in Computer Networking is highly qualified, experienced and motivated. Lecturing is supported by more than three decades of research in the area of Computer Networking, supported by national and international R&D projects, part of them with industry involvement, and a high number of quality publications in specialized scientific journals and conferences.

All team members have extensive experience in supervising MSc and PhD students, providing scientific guidance on research work towards the final dissertation. All students are encouraged to produce and disseminate high-quality research work in international events, promoting networking within the academic and industry professionals.

The lecturing team is also connected to several relevant international networks, namely the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Internet Society (ISOC), Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), British Computer Society (BSC) and Brazilian Computing Society (SBC).
